Olamide & Alexandra Olawuni · Tampa, Florida

Come
to our table.

We are Olamide and Alexandra — a blend of two kitchens and two languages of hospitality. We set a long table for Sunday brunches, housewarmings, birthdays, and the occasional just-because. Come hungry.

No. 02 · A morning with us

The rhythm of a
Sunday at ours.

You don't have to bring anything. You don't have to know anyone. We've only been doing this since we got married — the table is still learning, and so are we. Come anyway.

  • i.
    Tell us you're coming
Send a note with how many you are, and anything we shouldn't cook. We confirm by the Friday before.
  • ii.
    Arrive a little early
The door is open from eleven. Coffee on the porch, a jug of something fresh, and someone always needs help with the eggs.
  • iii.
Sit, eat, go back for seconds
Olamide cooks too much jollof on purpose. Alexandra brings out the peach cobbler. The good plates make an appearance.
  • iv.
    Stay until sunset
Coffee, leftover cake, a little wine. Sign the guestbook on your way out. Take a plate home — we insist.
No. 03 · Guests at the stove

Sometimes someone else does the cooking.

Family in town, an old line-cook friend, a pastry chef we love. When the table gets bigger, we open up the kitchen too.

We'll announce guest chefs closer to the next gathering.

Have a chef in mind?

A parent visiting in October, a friend who used to run a line, your tia who makes the best arepas in Florida. Tell us their name and the season — we'll set the date.
